I am a farmer and the son of farmers. I collaborated in the research program: Integral Ecology, as an academic researcher in the Interdisciplinary Department of Environment and Economics of the Rafael Landívar University. My topics of interest are: Political Ecology, Agroecology, Regenerative Economy and Dialogue of Knowledge.
I believe in regeneration as the only way out of the current crisis of civilization, because we are completely certain that the economic, agricultural and livestock practices of Homo sapiens exercised in the last 70 years are the main driver of the social and environmental degradation of the planet. In addition, in the history of life on planet Earth, we know that at least 9 species of the animal kingdom practice economy, agriculture and livestock in a harmonious way.
