At CATIE I completed my Master&#039;s Degree in Biodiversity Conservation Practice, with a focus on rural development, and I am currently finishing my specialization in soils and plant nutrition at USP, University of S\u00e3o Paulo. I am a member of CATIE&#039;s Agrobiodiversity and Food Security Unit and I am a member of the Kaf\u00e9 Makaya project, which promotes the development of coffee agroforestry systems adapted to the climatic and socioeconomic reality of small producers in Haiti. I also support in the coordination of activities within the Regenerative Food Business project and in the collective construction of the HUB NAR.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To walk towards regeneration is to transform the understanding of our role, as human beings, on that planet. Understanding that, just like other existing beings, we must dance to the rhythm of nature and dancing to that rhythm requires concrete changes in our way of life. I recognize that it is not an easy and immediate process, especially when dealing with the different socioeconomic and cultural contexts where the limitations are different. But time is short and concrete actions that demonstrate positive developments are necessary.
