AVINA
Pablo Vagliente

I lead the Sustainable Business and Finance area at Fundación Avina, and I am also the executive director of WTT, an arm for scientific-technological innovation, created by Avina. In this role, I accompany disruptive technology startups and deep techs, as well as ethical finance strategies, so that they can generate a transformative impact on society. We also support the strengthening of regenerative businesses, especially with a focus on food, because we understand that they are the paradigm of change that must be promoted in the market.

“NARs represent a way of understanding business that seems to me of enormous importance. On the one hand, because the way of doing, of producing food starts from the healing of the soil and reaches the restoration of ecosystems and the articulation of territories that go far beyond the farm. In this way, the NARs improve the condition of their workers and also benefit the communities with which they are involved. And they do it profitably, so they can be sustained over time. NARs are regenerative from food, from it, and not just for food.”
