THE EXPERIENCE
A workshop designed to provide firsthand insight into how urban regeneration projects are implemented on the ground—their business models, actual costs, lessons learned, and challenges.
The visit combines a workshop, fieldwork, and local cuisine.

WHO ARE THE FACILITATORS?
This workshop offers an experience focused on gaining a practical understanding of nature-based solutions (NbS), ecosystem restoration, and business models related to biodiversity and decarbonization.
The visit will take place at the Páramo School, located near Chingaza (La Calera), a space designed as a living laboratory where participants can learn how restoration projects are designed and implemented in high-mountain ecosystems.
The program combines learning and hands-on activities. It includes a workshop on the fundamentals and logic of business models in the SbN, fieldwork focused on ecosystem restoration, and a discussion with the Amazonía Emprende team about their insights into structuring this type of project. The day is rounded out with a culinary experience showcasing local flavors.
